MonaGIS specializes in the integrated use of SketchUp and GIS, using architectural drawings (in CAD, GIS shapefile or hard copy format) to create fully interactive 3D designs, and integrating this with GIS data to create realistic environments for use in planning, architectural and landscape design, and even archaeology, where ancient (as well as modern or future) settlements can be generated and even populated with trees, vehicles and people. MonaGIS can post-process these for use with 3DStudioMax and other specialized visualization software.
